Chapter Officers 2011-2012

Jonathan Rose was born and raised in North Logan. He began piano lessons at age seven and organ lessons followed at age eleven. A church organist for almost twenty years, Jonathan has taught numerous organ training courses. He has performed in master classes with Dame Gillian Weir and Sophie-Véronique Choplin.  During a study tour of the pipe organs of Paris, France he received instruction from Daniel Roth at St. Sulpice and Jean Guillou at St. Eustache. Jonathan’s experience includes organ maintenance assignments for the LDS Church and for the Holtkamp pipe organ at USU’s Kent Concert Hall. He also maintains the university's harpsichord and other keyboard instruments as required. Jonathan has performed often with ensembles in Cache Valley, including the American Festival Chorus. He is presently organist and choirmaster at St. John's Episcopal Church in Logan, Utah.

Tyler Anderson graduated from Utah State University with an interdisciplinary degree in organ performance and business administration. He now works for The Piano Gallery as church organ specialist. Tyler also works for
Johannus Orgelbouw of The Netherlands managing their account with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. Tyler is an organist in the Smithfield 16th ward of the LDS Church as well as St. John’s Episcopal Church in Logan.

Joseph Woodard is currently studying at Utah State in the Engineering Education program. His interest in the organ
has led to his involvement with the USU Department of Music and the local AGO. He is also a member of the Organ
Historical Society, which promotes a widespread musical and historical interest in American organ building. Joseph is excited to help promote organ music in Cache Valley, through the variety of events a growing chapter of the
American Guild of Organists can offer.
